Just for fun here is a question that didn't make last springs contest. What treaty was violated by Custer in 1874 and how did he do so?

Laramie treaty of 1868. Dakota Black Hills were considered sacred, but Custer led a party of 1000 men into the area and they subsequently discovered gold. The land was soon overrun by miners. Nance(X)
