I've wrestled with this decision for quite awhile, but the time has come for me to get out of collecting & move on to other things. There are several reasons, not the least being financial, but a big part is also that my heart's just not in it anymore. One of my life's goals since I was a kid was to have an awesome action figure collection & I've accomplished that beyond anything I ever imagined. Other than the rare high dollar stuff, there really isn't much more I can do. I've had a good long run here at the Ranch & met some good people...many who helped me build my collection. Thank you.
I have a lot of stuff to sort through & catalog, but at some point most of it will be up for sale. I'll post here when it's ready. Until then, Happy Trails.

Pam & Terry, this is sad news as youall have been a big part of the Ranch!
You will be missed my friends!
Suggestion just pack it away & see how you feel in the future how many times have we heard about regrets & attempts to reclaim lost collections.

I hit the same wall and ended up parting with most of my stuff. I kept Johnny, Geronimo, the 2 knights, the 2 vikings, and Rat Patrol (w/jeep) as well as a custom or 2 and horses for each. Still lurking here... still interested in the goings on of the Ranchers. Happy Trails!

I've been giving Johnny a break this year. Been collecting a lot of other things of late from GI Joe to Vaseline glass. With the 50th anni9versary of Johnny coming up there will probably be more of that again.

Sorry to hear that Terry! I would recommend you think about Dave's suggestion of boxing them up for a bit and see what the future brings. I am currently helping two friends reacquire collections they sold 20+ years ago and the going is tough on the one. Dick never fails to comment how big of a mistake he made selling his trains when I find a piece or two for him! Food for thought!

Hi Terry, Good luck with any new ventures!! It is a New year! I also agree with BP, Otter and Dave about boxing some (a lot?) of the really special ones a while you are sorting. Think of all the great attic finds Nance
