Well the past year was the same as 2013 and here are the results.
1. Catalog the collection: Not done but the end is in sight! 2. Stop being jealous of east and west coast collectors with access to better items than me: Getting better but still needs work. A couple of nice Craig's List scores helped. 3. Create a website: Abject failure and it is being tabled for this upcoming year.
The two new ones replacing #1 and #3.........drum roll..........
1. Hold a collection show for family, friends, and the public at a local location. I got the idea from "Collection Intervention". 2. Complete at least one custom figure using one of my recently purchased Noah Coop heads. Noah was after me for years to try so I think I owe our friend an honest effort. He told me it just required good light and patience, I am not sure there is a bright enough bulb to cover up lack of talent but I guess I will find out!

Hey BP, Great goals! What is a collection show? I am also resoluting: 1)a couple more Canadian figures as I really like the colors 2) complete some custom work this year. My RX corral is now full of hapless Marx horses The "good light" concept is great advice. I am working on finding the right artificial kind now because by the time the good sunlight is available there is always something else to do! Nance

Hey Nance! Love the RX corral idea!
A collection show is a public display of your collection along the lines of an art show. Although I have no intention of selling any toys! I watched "Collection Intervention" and in a couple of episodes the host helped the collectors inventory and run such a show. I liked the idea and since the majority of my collection is stored versus displayed, although I rotate every few months, it seemed like it could be fun.
As I complete the inventory I will have some Canadian figures available for trade. Email me at mitrealest@aol.com with a wants list and we can see what turns up.
