Hey Jay, Have you ever heard the expression? "He can't dance he has 2 left feet" Well that's what I named my first figure a Zeb which I shared @ Wheeling possible first visit. A factory error of either 2 left or right lower legg portion from factory. Occasional both feet on wrong leggs & one that also has a reversed upper legg thigh. D & D Wow, that's a cool variation; never heard of it, Dave. You and other "Master Collectors" here on the board really help us all with the hobby. Thanks for the explanation.

I want to thank you guys for sharing pictures of your collections. My wife thinks I am nuts for having 50+ figures, 30+ horses, and 3 wagons. She will still think I'm nuts but hopefully she will view my collecting habits as "modest"! As for me I am in awe of every ones dedication ! If any one ever does a story on the life of Louis Marx and his toy company, they can come to you guys for the stock to fill the shelves in scenes of the production warehouse!

Wow, I am impressed by the size of some of the collections mentioned. Fantastic. Brings up another point in relation to my original post;
Does anyone know how many of each figure Marx produced over a given series time; i.e. how many Zeb Zachery FAF or how many BOTW Princess Wildflower, etc.? I've seen the number estimations for GI Joe from the 1960s-70s somewhere (probably in Don Levine's huge resource book), but I have never seen a number for the Marx figures. Further, how many figures do you think still exist, and then from that number, how many are represented here in the club?

If I had to guess, I would say 400-500 pieces. All original pieces except dapol reissues. Have a complete sunburst UK set except boxed thunderbolt. Many Canadian figures. Not counting year variations, I do have a complete US set, including JWA pieces. Have a few store displays too. And a few one off/proto pieces.

I have the 4 piece JWA display and the 4 piece best of the west display. I may have bought the JWA display from you Dave. My username on the old yahoo board was jwacollector. If I get a chance here soon, I'll take some pictures and get them posted up.
