With a heavy heart I bid farewell to Noah Coop, a friend who helped renew my love for Johnny West figures. I saw Noah only a few times, but felt close to him and Terri because of our shared passion for Marx figures and their warm friendship via the Ranch.
Noah passed away last night and I hope that Heaven is filled with endless possibilities for him to create more figures and play with Johnny in an eternal childhood.
Farewell, my friend. I miss you.
Prof. Jim

Shocked and saddened to hear the news. Though I never met the man, I felt I knew his heart and sole having witnessed his passions and creativity. My condolences to his wife and family. He has left a lasting impression on this hobby with his craft and will be missed by all ! RRK

I found the Ranch shortly after my mother passed in 2007, ironically on Oct 11. I got heavily involved & it helped me through some very hard times. I would have never had the collection I do if not for the Marxman's inspiration, creativity & excellent products. Rest in peace, friend.

Well said Professor Jim, well said!
I only met Noah in person once and was greeted at the KC show as if were had known each other for years not just via emails and the occasional phone call. The rest of the day was spent watching him interact with customers, discussing toys both old and new, and then eating way to much bbq washed down with way way to much beer.
Our hobby lost an irreplaceable spirit and I know I am a better collector and more importantly a better person for having met him.
I am glad my friend is out of pain and I expect him to have the beer cold, the wings hot, and a whole bunch of new toys to show when I see him again.

What sad news. I received an email from him back in March, and although we corresponded irregularly due to his condition, he has always been in my prayers. We met at a local show in the Dallas area several years ago, and I remember Noah as nothing but gracious and kind. He spent quite some time with my son, and we purchased the (then) new CXR Marx Jed Gibson, reissue Black Knight, and some accessories.
Because of Noah, I joined the CXR forum here and have met many of you wonderful fellow collectors.
Our prayers will be with Terri and the family during this time.

I just saw this on The Trenches. I am floored by this sad news, and offer thoughts and prayers for the family. May God guide you and keep you in this terrible time of loss. Camo
