Cuz enquiring minds want to know!
Sorry for being so quiet lately, but taking over the reins and running the Ranch by myself has been a colossal job. My thanks go out to everyone for keeping this forum vibrant and growing during this last year.
A double-dutch shout-out to Scott Stewart and Mitch Sump. I couldn't have done it without you.
I won't dwell on Noah's accident, but his care was my main focus and primary job up until a couple of months ago when he finally found some good compentent help. His condition is about the same, a lot of pain with his main focus on keeping his health stable and trying to get a little better every day. It is definitely one step up, two steps back.
I've also maintained two other jobs. I now work for the state in child support enforcement and have a freelance writing gig as well as running the Ranch. Everyone has been so supportive and every week I ship packages to new folks all over the country and the world. Just keeping up on the packing was 30 hours a week. Not a lot left over for the forum after that
My pledge for the second half of 2011 is to be around a lot more and to continue to expand the Ranch universe.
I am just finishing up an extensive inventory and restocking some items that sold down while I was focusing on Noah. I durn near ran out of black hats - that was scary! So, if an accessory pops up as 'sold out' or temporarily disappears, it is on the way. I haven't discontinued anything.
Also, I am riding the manufacturer daily to get the new accessory shipped! A snafu of epic proportions has delayed shipment for several months now.
So, stay tuned, like Kevin Costner said in The Postman, "stuff's gettin' better . . . "
