Heading out to a pretty big flea market tomorrow here in Lincoln. Normally pretty good for horses and loose figures but hard to say what prices will be. We are still hurting from the overbidding at the doll auction a few years back that screwed up a lot of collectors.

Wish we had flea markets like that here in Texas. Have a huge one in Canton, Texas held each month prior to the first Monday of each month, but as large as it is, it is mostly "knick-knacks," t-shirts, and curios.

Over 50 vendors and lots of toys, primarily 10 years old or newer, but not a single Marx anything! Very weird and I was there in the first hour so I can't imagine it all got bought! Oh well sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't!

Tease! I will bite though, what treasures did you see, get, and leave? I picked up a Fort Apache play set carrying case yesterday for $9 at an antique store. Missing the handle and nothing included other than the gates and plastic building fronts on the one end but in pretty good shape and although I don't collect playsets I couldn't pass up for the money.

That's a pretty good deal. If you desire, you can pick up the re-issue Marx figures (usually red Indians and metallic blue cavalry) as well as the accessories for about $30 or so. Hobby Bunker is a good resource, as is Classic Toy Soldiers. I used to have the carry-all, but the buildings on mine were tin-litho (later edition).

Keep thinking it might make a nice display case for some of my cavalry figures. My 10 year old is playing with it for the time being.
