Nope, not a Rancher yet... I resist the temptation to post meaningless messages on all other posts to artificially inflate my score.... OOPS! Ok, I usually resist...;-)
Just kidding folks! Nothing is meaningless, even those small one liners of encouragement are great! With my brain, I just usually draw a blank on a response... just ask Dave ;-)

I would never post just to add to my post count (post #75). I don't even keep track.

Hello All, I'm DH55 (Delta Hotel 55). In an earlier day I was an air traffic controller and my Operator ID was DH. I like using it as it's simple and "old habits die hard", so just call me DH. When I was a kid I had a Daniel Boone action figure and he was one of my favorite toys along with my G. I. Joes. I always wanted a Johnny West and the BOTW sets, but my father wouldn't indulge my wishes. So I'm indulging myself now. I have five "Thunderbolt" horses which I purchased from Stevo's Toys, they're great. Now I'm looking to acquire some BOTW riders for my horses.

Howdy, all!
I'm new here but am an old friend of the West family. I've just found Circle X, and have begun ordering. Any chance of seeing those out of stock custom heads coming back?
Thanks, all!

Welcome! We all are looking forward to the day when we can order those heads again. The owner, Noah, was injured and is taking a break for the time being. He and his wife Terri operate this site also.

Howdy yall! Thought I would intro myself now that I have a few minutes. Ramrod Kid is the handle,Kevin is the name. As with you all, I to was smitten with my new Marx figures each and every time a holiday or birthday brought one into my possession!(will post some pictures out of my moms photo album at a later date) My original collection consisted of Johnny , The Chief, 2 Thunder bolt palominos,Gen Custer, Mike hazard and Sir Gordon. The later 2 were utilized more as western characters,(with the use of a spare set of JW accessory's left over from the demise of my very first JW,(Early version,Hip broke due to mishandling of play mates! sad day)Sadder still I regrettably passed my collection (in very good condition)along to some youngster, sons of friends of my parents (an attempt to display my maturing) and they promptly trashed/lost the hole lot. (do I sound bitter!) Anyway after my own kids were well on there way I discovered a small shop(Culture classics in Phoenix). Here I found ole JW and some accessory's and was well on my way to rebuilding my long lost collection of friends. A good many ( much more than I had had as a youth) were acquired at swap meats ( all pre. internet. My collection has grown to some 40 figures and 20 + animals, mostly horses. I also am a collector of the late surge of 12" military figures ie G.I. Joe, Side show, SOTW. Peace keepers ,ect. But the Marx line will always be my favorite! Recently after having reviewed all of my collection, I was inspired to employ them in stop motion shorts. I make no promises as how soon I will be able to share them with you, But that is my intention in joining this GREAT sight! I have already shot two 1.5 min to 2.5 min sequences,(Marx figures) but am just learning how to edit and apply the S M soft wear. I am no techno wizz so this part will no doubt be slow going. Has anyone else out there at the Ranch Dabbled in Stop motion? Would love to here about it as well as hear any pointers!
