I'm at a quandary; I have built a custom "Sons of Liberty" Marx play set for my son using the following:
Vintage Marx tavern Vintage Marx flapole and metal SoL flag Marx re-issue British soldiers Marx re-issue British cannon and accessories Marx re-issue gray stone walls Marx re-issue furniture accessories set Marx re-issue Johnny Tremain characters set Marx re-issue green trees (2) Accurate Maryland militia set
I am having an incredibly hard time finding Marx re-issue colonials. They were available about 5 years ago in royal blue (the powder blue are the original Marx Heritage version), but the supply has seemed to dry up. Anyone know of any good links or help?
Thanks!

Are those the ones that all look like Daniel Boone?

No, go here: www.angelfire.com/biz/toysoldierhq/Marxpir.htmland scroll down until you see the photo of the Sears Marx Heritage Sons of Liberty play set. The picture of the Marx colonials is the photo underneath. The "frontiersmen" that you are referring to came with other Marx sets, including the Alamo, etc. UPDATE 4/8: I may have just answered my own question, as the Marx colonials are now for sale on eBay in silver as Mexican re-issues. What is hard is finding the re-issued royal blue color or the rarer original powder blue color….
