Howdy Ranchers! I've been a board member since October of 2010, and although I don't have a lot of posts (39 before this one), I check here 3-4 times a week. I notice overall there is very little activity, and usually I am the only member on when checking. It's a little discouraging, especially for those that want to buy/sell/trade or want some up-to-date news and don't really follow Facebook, etc. I have bought and sold some on the board (although not recently), and partly because I feel the B/S/T section gets very little exposure. It lists at the bottom of the forum that we have well over 100 members, but how many actually use these boards to communicate, etc.? Seems like most of the topics are months, if not over a year old. I'm just looking for more interest (I guess) and more info on CXR, as Terri and Noah have been outstanding in reviving Johnny West, especially for my kids who can actually play with a figure like their dad played with growing up (and for me to not worry about a caramel figure, etc. going to pieces ) I know that Terri has been playing catch-up with orders because of the storm and currently cannot offer boxes with new figures, etc. Just wondered about any updates to the new Marx/CXR as far as figures, accessories, sets, etc.? Thanks.

Nothing new on the horizon the last time I actually spoke to Terri but that has been a few months ago.
I share your frustration sometimes with posts but am curious how often people, such as yourself, come on and read but don't post. I check the activity board a couple times a week and see that members and guests are often on doing or not doing just that.
As for buying selling and trading just throw a line out there and see what bites! I have added several pieces to the collection over the years through the ranch and sold/traded also. If I ever get the cataloging done, New Years Resolution #2, I will be noting several items for sale.
Just keep smiling and Johnny on!

Thanks for your reply.
I, too, am frustrated by the lack of information. Several of the posts in several topical folders have not been updated with new posts or new information since 2012… I think I speak for those that come here on a regular basis that we'd like more information about our hobby.
At any one time, there may be one other member at most besides myself online.
I actually posted on several of the different topics today to try to generate some traffic and responses.
Thanks.

I guess you could say I am a 'lurker'. I login a couple of times a week and read and then go my way. You mentioned that Terri was filling orders. I was afraid they had stopped selling. Can you give the current link to the CXR site. The ones I had do not lead to them any more. Thanks, Lee

Lee, here's an old link from my bookmarks...I just tried it & it worked, but I couldn't tell how current it is. Pretty slim pickings though, unless there's another site I'm not aware of. Terry www.marxmanbros.com/

Go to eBid, at: us.ebid.netTerri is selling about 40+ items, mostly accessories, with a few figures (no boxes), including Sheriff Garrett, Levi Nolan, etc. No Jesse James, though. Wonder if the Jesse James caramel BOTW CXR/Marx figure will ever be available again?

Ramrodkid: You are welcome, and nice avatar…. Thanks Jay world !... Believe it or not.. that is me at the age of about 17. I have been into historical re-enacting since high school, This avatar is actually a photo, of a painting done by Don Crowley (in his early years... .today a western art hall of famer) He captured an image of me competing in a muzzle loading rifle match (@ 1975) at the old Black Canyon gun range N of PHX. (now the Ben Avery range) RRK

Thanks for the info everybody. Yes my avatar is a custom I attempted to try and look like me. Afraid the toy is better looking than the real thing... Lee

Where did you get the glasses? I have been thinking the custom Noah made of me as an Arizona Ranger could use glasses.
