A bit off topic but things are slow so here are my Hot Wheels Got a couple reissues in there. These are Red Lines which are the vintage 1968-70 issue. Valuable if in mint condition not so much when they have paint wear. Some more, some of which were based on plastic models. IThe Woody and Cord are a couple of my faves. VWs The 2nd from the left is the Jack Rabbit Special which was based on a cartoon. Cars of the type that go around in circles. And dragster types. The ones on the left are the Spoiler series. alternate view.

I spent hours playing with my little cars. 8 pop bottles found on the road or in the ditch by our farm added one more to the collection when we would go to Hawleys Hardware. Ahhh memories!

I remember most of them & the countless hours of fun I had. I don't have many of my childhood ones left, but I pick up a cool one now & then to go with my Hot Wheels garage.

My first set, the track with the loop and the jump ramps. Mom and Dad had to listen to it constantly as I experimented on how far I could get the car to jump by raising the starting clamp higher and higher. Fort this is for Smokey and Carson. A friend of mine writes a blog for the publisher of his books, and I couldn't help but think of the "boys" when I read it and knew I had to share it with you. TW erasgone.blogspot.com/

Very nice Hot Wheel collection. I remember having the "Funny Money" van in purple and the "Grasshopper" jeep in light green as a kid….

You are welcome. I just thought I would try to get this thing jump started again and hopefully others will join in and talk about Johnny West and other items of interest, including CXR, Hot Wheels, Megos, Captain Action, FIghting Furies, etc.
