Steve Scout was made by Kenner back in 73 and 74 I believe. Anyway on with the pictures.... Also it is 1/6th scale. The tower which is always a favorite. Steve Scout on the left and Bill Scout on the right along with some accessories. The searchlight and elevator cage are from something else. No sure what. The box. Carson has to check it out. The weather Station set. Bob Scout is listening on the headphones to the weather report on the short wave. Steve Scout and Craig Cub in the window boxes. The window box for Steve Scout is much more desirable than the original box. Craig Cub only came in the window box. There was also Dave Cub. The stickers that came with Steve Scout.

And the paperwork. There are a pair of Steve Scout original series boxes along with Bill Scout with his mailer box. Bill Scout is the Jed Gibson of the Steve Scout world. He was only available as a mail away premium. Each set came with a set of stars. It took 25 stars to get Bill Scout. The Avalanche at Blizzar Rigde which came with everthing shown including a Steve Scout figure. Plus it was an 11 star set. A Steve Scout figure was 4 stars. A closeup of the accessories. The snow pants are around somewhere but I can't find them. Steve Scout in his jacket which was very well made. Search for the Spanish Galleon set. Sadly I don't have the box. Various pieces from the Mountain Medic and Camping sets. The silver dome is another amil away premium. I think it was 5 stars. One last view of the accessories. I have a few more pieces I left out but that is it for now. Thanks for looking. Brian W

It's THE VILLAGE PEOPLE as teens . . . and before their costume changes of the 1980s.

I never knew much about them, but what an excellent set. I wish I had a couple of those figures. I loved the Scouts when I was a kid. Of course, we never had any equipment that cool, lol.

Very nice. I remember the Steve Scout collection in the Sears Wishbook Christmas catalog back in 1974, but never had any of the figures or accessories. They were also advertised in comic books of that era.
Cool collection! Very nicely displayed.

I picked up a Steve over the weekend at a flea market...only one I've ever ran across anywhere. I wasn't going to buy it, but it brought back my scouting memories & was in good shape, so what the heck. Hopefully I haven't started yet another collection now, lol.

I know the feeling about starting another collection. I do it often.
