Reissue set from the 90s Three houses and some PVC characters. Don't think these were ever issued by Marx. OK these were Marx figures. Playmat which is obviously for the dino sets. Business buildings Houses and PVC figures again. It came with dinos including 7 of 8 of the 2nd prehistoric animals set. They are my favorite paert of the set.

Generic playset pieces like Marx would add to get the piece count up. The quarry where fred and Barney worked. The box The shops again and the big finish. I painted many of the pieces which were a translucent blue for some reason. and that's the end.

More playset pics...cool! I never knew about that set as a kid, or I would have wanted it. I really dug the Flintstones.

Ah-hem. It's Flintstones - with two "Ts" - like it says on the box.

I saw several of the original buildings at an antique shop today...$20 each, which I don't know if that's realistic pricing, but they sure are different from the repros.

That's a great set. Hard to say what the original sets came with. Would need to see an old catalog.
Oops it is Flintstones.
