here is a couple of the discontinued figures I got around Christmas along with my Very First Marxman, "the Black Dude" I lost the white box years back that had his name written on the end. Can Anyone Name him? and also name the one with the red neckerchief? His picture is still on the Marxman page of "Unpainted Head" but the names are no longer there. Can Anyone HELP ME!!!!

Hi:
There were 30+ figures with CXR heads posted on their website a couple of years ago.
The TWO figures you asked about do NOT appear on that list. Is it possible that these TWO heads were custom jobs done by someone else and attached to CXR re-issued bodies?
P.S. The "Black Dude" looks like a re-worked JED GIBSON.

I bought the black dude from Noah years back when he first listed the heads, a year later he cut a few heads out & now there is 54 unpainted heads listed & 25 painted heads listed. The painted heads all have name but the unpainted ones have had the names removed. You are right its definitely looks like a Jed head but you can tell it was molded that way. I have 2 confederate soldiers & 3 Indians, that haven't been pictured on the Marxman sight for Years, I also bought these from Marxman myself, one of them is "Medicine Man". I lucked across a "Mason Dunbar" last week, they actually had it listed as a Niel Babcock which I already had so I almost didn't even check it out closer. The one I ask about with the red neckerchief is still on the Marxman sight, he is top row 4th from left. magicmarxie.com/headpage3.htm

Hello RKC,
I believe the cowboy with the red neckerchief name is Cole. When I use to purchase my heads from Terri and Noah I did it by email, and I would get the head's name by right clicking on it, and then clicking on "Properties " at the bottom, it will then reveal the file name of the photo. The name for the one you identified with the link is "auncole.jpg".
Terri and Noah has photos of all the black troopers in a photo album titled "MBC & CXR Figures" at the CXR yahoo site. Yours looks like Moses Cooper to me when I compare the photos.
I hope this info helps and is correct.
John

John Thanks A LOT Moses IS His Name, It had been so long & I plum forgot. Years back I bought a few from them & then I started a new business up & for 5 years I just didn't have time to keep up with CXR & Marx. For the last 6 months I have been on a quest to find All the CXR Marxmen I could that I didn't have. The discontinued Figures are Gitting quite EXPENSIVE, Looks like Noah & Terri's work is in High Demand
