Animal Husbandry 4pts: The Wild Mustang isn't very well represented proportionately with 1/6th scale figures. Assuming that he is portrayed as a full grown horse what scale would he be?

approx 1:10 scale. As wild mustang appears to be approx 6 inches at the withers (if standing square - the hump at bottom of neck adjoining the top of the back), A real avg height mustang is 15 hands measured at the withers. one hand = 4 inches, so 60 inches over 10 = 6 inches. Nance

4pts Nance! I was prepared to accept 1/9,1/10, or 1/11 for scales depending on how you figured it, average real height, etc..

Ok we have our six topics for this semester! Remember it was random! They are Animal Husbandry (Marx Critters), International Studies (Figures not made in the USA), Youth Studies (West Kids, I realized I have neglected them in questions over the years!), Medieval History (Knights & Vikings), Military Science (Soldiers & Spies), and Transportation Studies (Marx Vehicles).
So far we only have two folks with points but there is a lot of time left and I see that many folks have been popping in to follow along.
