I am planning on starting this up again on April 1st, no fooling just fun! I am toying, pun intended with running two identical games simultaneously on both sites. I have to think logistics but I may attempt it depending on the game style I choose. I am for sure running it on this site as the format is very conducive to a contest. If I run it on both sites I would have to limit players to only one game or the other. So take some time and brush up on your toys and western themed trivia.

Ok starting Monday I am running Johnny West University just on this site. I did not have enough interest to try and run on both sites. I will be posting a few rules tomorrow or this weekend but I have managed to find some pretty good questions that are not necessarily googleable and am looking forward to the contest.

I am delaying the game until Monday April 8th. I had to let some people go at work and imagine next week will be entertaining enough without the quiz. Sorry for the delay!

Ok here are the rules for Johnny West University 2013!
1. Have Fun 2. Questions will be in "college" format and the topics can change with each daily question. 3. Two semesters with six classes each semester and five tests (questions) per class. 4. I will post one question each day between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Central Standard Time. This way everyone will know when its approximately coming and can get a chance. If I can not post during that time some day due to work emergencies, family stuff, or flying monkeys I will not post a question until the following day. 5. At least one third of the questions will be Marx Toy related. It would be a good time to review Toms books, Scotts website, and the Figure of the Week discussions on this site for assistance in answering the questions. 6. Questions will range in value from 1 to 5 points but if you should start late or get behind take heart as there will be "Extra Credit" opportunities each semester to help students raise there GPA. 7. First person to answer correctly gets the points but if you feel someone has answered incorrectly please give an answer. Sometimes in attempting to be tricky the Professor confuses everyone including himself and multiple points may be awarded. 8. Have Fun!
I am looking forward to doing this again and prizes will be awarded but I don't want to let the kitty out of the burlap until the end as to what those are!
I want to thank Noah and Terri for letting me do this again and also thank Dr. Greg Gana my good friend and retired history professor for coming up with some of these questions.

5 points for Scott although I admit I didn't realize Sunny Daye was a real actress until I checked a moment ago.
Just for fun can anyone tell me the three that are on the list from television/movie references and what the shows/movies were?

Chill Wills, Harry Carey and Fuzzy Knight. Chill Wills and Harry Carey were in several TV movies that I have seen. I had always wondered if Harey Carey was related to the late Harry and Skip Carey, the father and son baseball broadcasters for Cubs and Braves, but not related. Fuzzy Knight was the sidekick of (can't think right now) but he wore 2 guns turned backwards if my memory is corrrect. If not, then I am totally embarassed.
