Nice pieces for sure, but way out of my league. I don't think I've ever seen the dogs go for even close to that much before.

Seems a reasonable (i think) price considering they are canadian which are a bit more rare. While I would like boxed dogs I would like them for about $30 or so.

Actually . . . I could not tell from the posting if the dogs were from the Canadian factory. From the description/photos, it could be that only the boxes were actually made in Scarborough and USA dogs were later mated with the Canadian boxes. When I saw the price climbing, I didn't bother to write to the Seller to have this issue verified. I have two of each dog - but, alas, no boxes - that were bought from different Canadian Sellers on eBay, and all have the USA Marx Logo stamp in the inside-back, left thigh.  |
