I recently bought another Mike Hazzard gear box like the one I got last year, the thinner attache case style, in hopes of using it as trade stock eventually. Upon its arrival two things come to mind.
1. Is the "rarer" thinner style actually more common than the full size box as I have seen two of this one but none of the other on Ebay in many years of looking?
2. Has anyone purchased anything from American Metal Box company that had a plastic tray in it? This one does and it is stamped with the company name so I assume it is original to the box. My Johnny and Chief boxes do not have these trays which might not be surprising considering how thin and brittle this one is.

Here is one of the army boxes with the plastic tray! I wonder if I have been missing these in previous Ebay sales photos! 181002811643

I have a feeling I know which one this is going to be. Yep that is it had it up on a different browser before I checked this message. Luckily there a few good stony auctions going as I need one for Figure of the Week.
