Well, last night I made a bid on a Johnny West figure and when I awoke this morning I was rewarded with my first eBay purchase. I'm thrilled and hoping that I won't be disappointed. This will be my first Johnny West and only my second BOTW figure. I didn't buy him from the POV of a collector, but from the perspective of a big kid getting a new toy. I've been looking forward to getting a JW for 45 years, so I'm waiting with bated breath for his arrival.

That is Super! I hope you aren't disappointed! Be careful, though...this collecting can become an obsession very quickly....lol! But an enjoyable one . I do hope you are happy with your figure.....and remember, there are so many different versions of Johnny... Buddy B.

Congradulations, the first figures are always the most fun. Who will you get next?

Congrats! Post a list of who and what you want next and maybe some folks here can help. I am currently tapped out of extras but I am always buying stuff when I get a good deal.

Thanks Guys, I had bid on a Josie West last night but lost out; I didn't get home in time to make another bid. Oh well, I've got stuff coming from Marxman, Dave & Donna, and my eBay purchase. I can hardly wait, I feel like a kid at Christmas. Anyway, tomorrow I’m going to our local market place and the Toyman says he has BOTW for me to check out.

Well, I was out bid once again for BOTW figure, this time it was Geronimo. Again I was too late getting home from an outing with my younger two sons. We had a good time, so it was worth it. My visit to our Toyman yesterday was disappointing, as someone else had already liberated the BOTW figures.

Keep your chin up DH! There will be many Geronimos in the future but the little boys unfortunately grow up!

Next time bid your maximum ammount you want to bid and then you won't have to worry about making another bid. Hope you had a good outing.

Yesterday I received my eBay purchase. My first Johnny West and I'm very pleased with him. He's in excellent condition; there's only one small spot on the head where the paint has rubbed off. So, my first eBay experience has been a good one.

Super! I am glad you are happy with the figure! It is always such a rush (a good feeling!) to open up that item when you get it......and find it is exactly what you wanted ..... Buddy B.

Hey, DH, I didn't even think to ask. Did this JW come with all of the accs? If there are any you need, let me know, and I may have something extra I can toss in an envelope and send you....

It's good that your Johnny arrived safely. Just remember the carmel figures are fragile, best to keep him in a room that doesn't get hot.
