Now the big test... I open the collar to see the tag. Stitching is vintage, tag is old and says Stony Smith By Marx Hong Kong WOO HOO!!!! No other Buddy or Stony uniform I"ve seen is this color! Attachments:

Boots... Old and dusty but not brittle like other BC / AAF boots. Hmmm, looks a lot like vintage GI Joe boots... Not sure if these are original to the figure / uniform.... Attachments:

The end of the picture story. I think I have a unique piece. Made in Hong Kong but distributed (who knows where) The hat has no Marx Toys marking, it's painted slightly differently. The uniform is completely unique. The boots may be Joe, the brass rivets scream foreign construction.... I couldn't be happier with my new Hong Kong General / Admiral... hmmm WHAT IS HE!!!!!!!!! ?
