I had one of those, one of the finest toy swords made. No clue what happenned to it.

As a kid, I had a friend that had one, but I don't remember the scabbard. It was all plastic, but very high quality. That was back about 1974. Haven't seen one since. Thanks for the link.

$300 for a plastic sword? A few months back I bought a Chassepot sword bayonet dated 1871. With shipping from England it cost me about $70. For $300 I would expect the real thing not some plastic toy.
