Just an F.Y.I.
Last December I purchased a Johnny West item on eBay. It was not received.
I did a follow-up a month later and it was presumed by both the Seller and Buyer that the item went missing in the mail. The Seller offered to send a replacement at no charge even though the shipment was not insured - I just had to pay the additional shipping fees. All money transactions were done through PayPal, as per eBay policy.
In March, the (replacement) item was not yet received. The Seller explained that she had "no idea what has happened", but offered to send a third article (i.e. if she could find another) at no charge. The deadlines for either PayPal claims or eBay feedback have long-since expired, and the original or replacement items have not been received.
In the earlier correspondence, the Seller had been courteous and appeared to be genuine and sincere. I have since then sent two more follow-up e-mails, but have received NO further responses from the Seller.
The SELLER's Username is: borzoi-booklady She goes by the name of Sharon and sometimes sells on behalf of her friend Laurie.

I had something like this happen 5 years ago. I bought a GI Joe from a seller up here in Canada and he mailed it to the wrong address. When I told him it was not my address that he sent it to he accused me of moving and not changing my address with Ebay. He had already overcharged me for shipping and told me if I wanted him to ship it again, I had to mail him $10 cash. I got angry and hit him with negative feedback, he then changed his attitude and mailed the Joe to me at his own cost. Brian C

There are several Ebay sellers that I avoid. I'll add that one to the list.
