Not sure if I am more envious of the shed or the collection! Probably the collection but the shed would be nice also! :^)
I like how you have the figures on stands and bagged. A great idea which I am stealing as I catalog and regroup the collection.

I live in the country and dirt and dust get everywhere, could not keep up with cleaning the figures so that is when I started bagging the boxes and figures. The shed is great to just get away and play Johnny without distractions.

Hi Jay, of course Johnny is getting old and cannot take extremes in weather, so he is in a 12x36 shed that is insulated and and kept at about 78 in summer and 68 in winter, but even with that I lose a few Johnny's but even that is not stopping Old Chief (he is falling apart without even touching him), have to admit that I do not have many of Old caramel Chiefs left and don't want to get anymore due to that. If you notice with my Travel Cases I now have a JWA Chief, when I opened it to take the pictures my caramel Chief was in about 8 pieces, and that wasn't the first one that did that to me. Eddie: Great idea for the climate controlled shed. I hear you regarding the caramel Chief Cherokees. I've had two; one in the rare 1972 (JCPenney?) litho box, and the other in the 2nd release late 1960s box. Both literally fell apart while in storage. I, too, have shied away from buying any more of the Caramel. In a separate post a bit back, I queried about buying either a Geronimo body or buying the JWA Chief, as I have retained the caramel head, hands, springs, and a few odd accessories. Perhaps you know from your huge collection and expertise; are the JWA beige Cherokees holding up well, or do you see brittleness in those as well?

Hey Jay, I have never had a JWA chief that became brittle, I have only seen one geronimo get chips at shoulders and groin, but it looked like he had a rough life but he still did not break into 8 pieces and is still in my display. I have never seen a color other than caramel just fall apart except the 2001 reissue vikings, knights, and custer but they mostly break in the bend of their arms. I did have one Sam that his chest just broke into two pieces, did not look like he was repaired either. Hope this helps.

Eddie: Thanks for the excellent information; been trying to find this out for sometime. Will consider upgrading at some point to the JWA Chief then. Oh, last question, is the Geronimo body and the JWA Chief body the same color?
Thanks!

Jay, they are both cream colored, geronimo being a light cream color and chief is a darker cream color, if you check out my loose collection you can see both colors with the 4 indians I have with different color indian bodies.
