Wow, this one stumps me; and according to Stewart's Attic website, there are no known variations or difference….

I am going to assume you meant that as an answer and award you two points! There is no difference! This is your first year in the contest so you would have no way of knowing that there are trick questions. Got to keep everyone on there toes!

Correct for 3 points. I have been told the recast Gordons came with a white or black feather, anyone confirm this?

Correct for 3 points. I have been told the recast Gordons came with a white or black feather, anyone confirm this? My re-issue had the green feather. Not aware of a white or black feather. I knew this answer because my first Marx figure at age 2 was the Sir Gordon in 1969!

Ok my first learning, or in this case relearning experience, of the year! I am awarding two points to both Dave and Jay for the Buffalo questions because the answer was five which they both gave but I had forgotten about the "fuzzy" version of the buffalo which Dave included in his five.
Thanks for the info on the recast feather Jay! Has anyone seen a recast knight with a feather different from the originals?

Animal Husbandry 1pt: What animal was discussed for release by Marx for the Johnny series but never done outside of a test shot? Don't overthink this one! It really is a no brainer when you consider the whole world of Johnny!

1 point for Jay! Thanks for the additional info Dave! I have never understood why this wasn't an automatic. I played with a number of probably 1/10 or 1/12th scale cows for Johnny's herd but even pretending they were calves didn't help much. I have one Breyer Hereford bull, we raised Herefords so I am sure I got him at some farm meeting, that is actually pretty close to the correct size especially if you look at how short that breed was originally when introduced to America during the 1880's. The Breyer Longhorns are close in scale but are pretty expensive so I don't have any. If some company produced cattle in 1/6 scale based on today's beef cattle they would need a pretty big box. My brother in law has a Chiania-Angus-Simmental cross bull that is close to 3800 pounds and almost 6 feet tall at the shoulder so you can imagine what the toy would look like.
