The boxes are really collector friendly. You can take the items out without damaging the boxes.

Looks great. I'll have to count my pennies after I pay my taxes. I especially partial to the Captain America. I will forgive them for the awful Captain Action comic book.

Mine came today...one of the best quality sets I've seen in a long time, especially at the price. I was right about not wanting to open them...so far all I've done is keep picking up the boxes & staring at them, lol. I'll take Cappy out tonight & play with him though, as I'm dying to check him out with all his gear. Now I have to start saving for the next set. Thanks, Scott!

There are some guys in another group I belong to who seem to be quite disappointed with the "playability" factor, among other things, but I'm not sure I know exactly what they mean. While you probably couldn't give one to a 7 year old & expect it to hold up, I don't think they were intended for that anyway. I bought my set under the assumption that it was basically an adult collectable & meant to be handled accordingly. I didn't plan on being able to launch him off a roof, lol.

GI Joe and his accessories were pretty fragile. The tips of the rifles would always break and joe tended to break fingers easily. I forget what my point was.

I don't think some guys remember a lot of that stuff could easily break if you weren't careful. Any of it that was played with on a regular basis probably survived mostly by luck. Many of my early figures bit the dust. My later ones are in good shape only because I outgrew them & they got packed away before they got wrecked.

I took these to our monthly toy meeting last night and the majority of the folks there thought highly of them. We used both costumes on Captain Action and it wasn't hard at all to get them back into the package looking like they hadn't been moved so a very collector friendly package as Scott had indicated.

Well, we finally opened the Captain Action figure and the Captain America and Spiderman suits. When we bought them it was for Grayson's birthday and yesterday was the day! They are great! We have also seen the non-deluxe sets in Toys-R-Us. For the price, Scott has a much better deal with the deluxe sets. In the deluxe sets Hawkeye's boots came with Captain America, and his bow, quiver, & arrows came with Spiderman. I was really surprised that no one had ever mentioned the extra, extra surprise that came with Hawkeye's arrows. Really cool. Can't wait for more. Thanks Scott! Lee

I didn't take the bow, quiver, and three arrows out of the bag. What did I miss?

There is another member of the original Avengers team holding onto one of Hawkeye's arrows.
